Today my family and I submitted our passport applications so that we can go on a cruise to Mexico in May. It's really funny trying to get a photo of a six month-old baby at the post office without getting anyone else in the frame! I highly recommend trying it if you can.
Then I came home and my closest friend had posted photos of her recent trip to China on FB and it really got me thinking - I have barely seen any parts of this gigantic world we live in. I have done the college European trip, several trips to Mexico, Canada and around the US (including Hawaii and Alaska) and one trip to Costa Rica, but really that's it. And that was when I didn't have any kids to hull with me. My friend is a musician and her jobs take her all over the world, mostly paid for by the company she performs with. That has got to be one of the best gigs anyone could have.
Is it too late to take up the piano professionally???
